How do I set up my Dock layouts with DockFlow?

Click "Add Preset," then either capture your current Dock with "Set from Current Dock" or build one yourself by adding apps. You can also add folders, files, web links, and spacers. Name it and you're done.

Can I assign keyboard shortcuts to switch Dock presets?

Yes. DockFlow supports single key shortcuts, key sequences, and multi-press hotkeys. You can also automate switching with Apple Shortcuts or link presets to macOS Focus modes so your Dock changes automatically when your Focus mode does.

Which macOS versions does DockFlow support?

DockFlow requires macOS 13.5 or later.

Does DockFlow require any permissions?

DockFlow's core preset features do not require special permissions. The optional Lock Dock feature requires Accessibility permission to keep the native Dock fixed to your chosen display.

Can I back up or share my DockFlow presets?

Yes. You can export your presets and Dock layouts as a JSON backup and import them later without removing your existing presets. You can also share individual presets through DockShare.

What's the difference between DockFlow and other macOS dock apps?

DockFlow works with your native macOS Dock rather than replacing it. That means no special permissions out of the box, it's less likely to be disrupted by macOS updates, and it has zero impact on system performance. It's workflow-based — designed to switch your entire app setup, not just customize how the Dock looks.

2. Product Description

DockFlow is a productivity application for macOS users, designed to help individuals streamline and manage their workspace through customized Dock presets and switching capabilities.

3. License and Usage

Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use DockFlow for personal or commercial purposes on the number of Macs and for the access period included in the purchased tier.

Lifetime Access is a permanent license and includes access to updates released during the 12 months following purchase. When that update window ends, the last eligible version remains licensed indefinitely. The application is not a subscription. The One Year License includes 12 months of access and updates, expires at the end of that period, and does not renew automatically. Forever Edition includes permanent access and all future DockFlow updates, including major-version upgrades, for the number of Macs shown in the offer.

Prohibited activities include:

Reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing the software
Reverse engineering, decompiling, or extracting source code
Sharing your license with others

4. Payment and Delivery

Payments for DockFlow licenses are one-time and non-recurring. Download access and a license key are provided after payment completion. Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes do not affect completed purchases.

Taxes are excluded from the listed prices. Stripe may add applicable taxes at checkout based on the customer's location.

5. Existing Customers and Future Updates

Update-policy cutoff: Purchases completed before 1 September 2026 at 00:00 (midnight) in the Europe/Sofia time zone (EEST, UTC+3) retain lifetime updates under the terms in effect when they were purchased. Standard Lifetime Access purchases completed at or after this cutoff include every DockFlow update released during the 12 months following purchase. Forever Edition includes all future updates. For this cutoff, a purchase is completed when Stripe confirms successful payment. No action or update renewal is required for customers whose purchases include lifetime updates.

Optional update renewals

For an existing permanent license covering one Mac, an additional 12 months of DockFlow updates currently costs €9.99 EUR or $9.99 USD, depending on your checkout currency. Prices exclude tax; applicable VAT, sales tax, or other taxes are added at checkout when required. Renewals are separate one-time payments with no automatic renewal. They extend update coverage without requiring a new permanent license. Contact us to arrange a renewal or confirm pricing for other device counts.

You may renew after a gap of any length. There are no back payments, gap charges, or reinstatement fees. A renewal immediately unlocks the latest DockFlow version, including major-version upgrades released during the gap, and includes every update released during the renewed coverage period. Future renewals use the price shown before payment; the length of a gap does not increase that price.

If your update coverage has expired, the new 12-month period starts when payment is confirmed. If you renew early, 12 months are added to your existing coverage end date, preserving unused coverage. Update eligibility is based on a version's release date, not when you download or install it. Covered versions remain licensed after coverage ends. An update renewal does not add device seats or extend an expiring One Year License.

Bug fixes, security, and macOS compatibility

Active update coverage includes new features, major upgrades, routine bug fixes, and macOS compatibility updates released during that period. After coverage ends, later routine updates require renewal. A permanent license does not guarantee that an older version will work on future macOS releases. Critical security patches, when released for supported versions, are available without an update renewal; we do not promise indefinite maintenance of every historical version. This policy does not limit updates or remedies required by applicable law.

Choosing not to renew does not cancel a permanent license. Existing purchases retain the access and update terms offered at checkout. Forever Edition and purchases that already include lifetime updates do not require update renewals.

6. Refund Policy

If, for any reason, you are not happy with the product, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase date. Contact us at support@appitstudio.com to request a refund.

7. Privacy Policy

8. Intellectual Property

All website content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

DockFlow shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use our software.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Bulgarian law. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Sofia, Bulgaria.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
